Film Scoring
Along with my frequent collaborator and dear friend, Kevin Dailey, I composed original score for Words & Music: Journey of a Song, a docuseries created by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Watch the trailer and listen to select cues, below.
Original Music for Podcasts
My friend Jeff Leitner approached me about composing original music for his podcast Goodniks, which explores the stories of people who have dedicated their life’s work to helping others. I recorded all of the instruments (including many virtual strings) in my Little Richardson Studio in East Nashville.
Goodniks producer Amanda Mayo brought me in to create original music for another client, Dana Black, who’s podcast I Swear on My Mother’s Grave explores what it means to lose a parent.
For both projects, I worked closely with the podcasts’ creators and producer to compose music that fit their visions for each series. Jeff wanted music that was alternately motivational and inspiring sombre reflection. He requested a rolling acoustic guitar, solo piano, and strings.
Dana wanted to pay homage to her late mother’s appreciation of R&B, Philly soul, and country music. She requested groovy drums and pedal steel guitar.
